These
five sculptures make up the garden installation ‘A Small Walk’
in a private Cornish garden. The ‘screens’ at the same time
cover up and reveal a selected view of the landscape, between the garden
and the sea. There is no point from where all the pieces can be seen at
once. It is necessary to walk to see them all. The positioning of the
sculptures should persuade us to walk and look in new ways through an
otherwise very familiar landscape.
